Tabletop folder inserter for large volumes - Office Toolbox
OfficeSolutions
Neopost has introduced the SI92 VersaMailer II tabletop folder inserter system, designed for large offices or mailrooms that process large volumes of mail ranging from simple financial jobs to highly creative mailing campaigns. The system features centralized control settings and is user-friendly, simple to program, and easy to adjust between jobs. The realtime help messages on the large graphic display enable users to pinpoint any stoppage location and easily access the problem area. The dual track OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) prints the same amount of marks on every form, making sure an ink smudge or accidental mark is detected as an error and not a command. The errors are redirected to one of two divert stations as the system continues processing mail.
The new VersaMailer can operate with the presence of dust, with any print density, and with any paper color or thickness. The high-capacity, multifunctional feeders can feed jobs varying in paper size and eliminate the need to buy extra feeders or an additional inserting system. It's designed to check for correct document thickness at feed stations and at the point of insertion, ensuring that business critical documents, such as invoices, are accurately inserted.
One company particularly satisfied with the VersaMailer II is Moen, the plumbing products manufacturer. Moen sends out some 1,200 invoices in envelopes each day plus a variety of other mailed pieces, such as marketing materials and letters. The company purchased a VersaMailer II because the decision was made to bring the formerly outsourced document management function in-house. "The Neopost team helped us set up the secure OMR code that is printed on our documents that our VersaMailer II automatically reads," said John Borer, a Moen department manager. "The document accumulation and inserting is automatic, there's no human error, and productivity is greatly enhanced." Borer added that Moen's greatest savings brought by the Neopost folder/inserter system has been in labor and related costs. For more details, visit www.neopostinc.com.
