Paktek introduces new folder-gluer

Taipei, Taiwan -- Paktek Industrial Co., Ltd., specializing in automatic folder-gluers for more than 14 years, introduced its latest model, Express-85, at drupa last May.

During the show in Germany, the Express-85 was producing four-corner boxes at operating speeds of 34,000 pieces per hour. The main machine advantages are its touch screen operation with remote control, its high speed (400 meters per minute) and its stability and flexibility for making various box designs.

To meet future demand, the standard Paktek machine that makes straightline, doublesided and crashlock boxes, can be upgraded for making four- and six-corner boxes by adding options like the four-corner back finger attachment and the six-corner folding section attachment.

The other available options include the feeding regulator, a squaring device for corrugated cartons, automatic glue injection system, the second trombone with servo motor, a UV grinder, panel movement by motorization, and a digital positioning system.

Paktek also applies its new technology to the professional automatic clear box folder-gluer. With its unusual design, anti-static and scratching-proof devices and special pressing unit, the final boxes can enhance the value of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, alcohol, and tobacco.
