InfoSeal introduces PS400 folder/sealer - Office Toolbox
OfficeSolutions
InfoSeal's new PS400 folder/sealer system is ideal for processing mid- to large-volumes of one-piece mailers. After printing documents on Pressure Seal Forms, the user puts them in the PS400, and moments later, they've been folded, sealed, and are ready for posting.
Folding the form aligns patterns of "co-hesive," which have been pre-applied to the Forms during manufacturing. Once folded, the document travels through sealing rollers, which activate the co-hesive and create a secure seal. Unlike an adhesive, a cohesive has two patterns placed on top of one another and requires high pressure to activate the bond.
The PS400 fits easily into office environments and will work with an existing impact or laser printer. It can fold and seal Forms at up to 12,000 per hour. The machine monitors paper flow and automatically shuts down if interrupted, and the output counter is a standard feature, which allows easy calculation of documents. InfoSeal offers a complete range of machines to handle any volume of mail. For more information, visit the Website www.infoseal.com.
