OfficeSolutions
International Paper's CutLess file folder paper is offered as a solution to an age old office mishap the paper cut. Specifically formulated to reduce the incidence of cuts, the paper has a thicker, stiffer stock with a softer edge than conventional file folder paper. An independent lab study showed that CutLess paper folders reduce paper cuts by 70 percent.
New EverFile file folder paper can help maintain files in long-term storage because it's formulated with a preservative process to resist brittleness from aging, mold, mildew, and humidity and to resist odors for more than 50 years. In addition, EverFile won't cause aging or brittleness in the papers it stores and has a high alkaline reserve to also make the contents odor resistant. The paper is permanent, durable, and PAT compliant and won't age or yellow photos or X-ray film in contact with the folder. PAT (Photographic Activity Testing--ISO Standard 14523) is conducted to test fading, mottling, and staining and to evaluate whether enclosure materials are safe to use with photographic images.
According to a study by International Paper, a leading cause of document damage and loss is the common desk spill. Rather than banning all desktop beverages, the company has introduced WaterShed file folder paper made with a special formula that enables the paper to resist spills so it can be wiped clean with a paper towel. It allows, however, pen and pencil notes, and folders made with WaterShed are stackable without sliding.
