Expandable post binders allow for different amounts of presentation materials to be added into a single binder.  Industrial applications include chip samples, the display of small parts, and other physical sales materials.

Expandable post binders also are commonly used as archive binders for library or reference materials, as well as for the custom storage of multiple issues of magazines.

The binder is actually constructed to two separate pieces encompassing the front and back cover, normally with 2 posts or 3 posts that hold the marketing materials. Construction materials for the post binder itself range from poly plastic to turned edge (case made).
